Blog, news and reviews from Snowdonia Fly Fishing Guides
This time last year fishing the local rivers was not easy with little activity, and this year is no different. I spent this morning walking the river and saw very few fish :0(. However I had quite a good afternoon on a mountain lake. It was cold and very windy but despite the weather I got 4 wild brownies, all on a dry fly, and brought 3 to the net.
Rachel treated me to an Olympus TG-2 waterproof camera for Christmas and the results are pleasing. Here is a picture of a wild brownie taken underwater as it's released, just look at the size of the pectoral fin!
