I have been a guide in the region for many years and developed a good local knowledge. Clients can fish a wide range of river and stillwater locations for grayling, wild brown trout, sea trout and stocked trout. If required I can provide clients with tackle at no additional cost and organise fishing permits.
wild brown trout, grayling and sea trout fishing in north Wales
Snowdonia and the rest of North Wales is one of the most spectacular locations in Britain for wild game fishing. The rivers in the region are gin clear and fed from upland lakes, riven from the Cambrian mountains by glacial activity and set in breathtaking scenery. They offer an opportunity for excellent brown trout, grayling and sea trout fishing. The ancient upland lakes are often remote, seldom fished and hold truly wild brown trout. There is also great fishing for stocked trout in beautiful surroundings. If you've never fished this region ask yourself why?
Extensive access to several rivers and streams in different catchments, offers a diverse range of fly fishing opportunities in a number of different locations.
Fly fishing for wild brown trout, grayling, sea trout and coarse fish on the stunning Welsh river Dee.
Remote upland lakes for those who want to hike into the mountains to get away from it all.
Accessible waters for those who want to fish without having to walk too far.
grayling fishing on the river Dee
The river Dee is acknowledged as one of the finest rivers in Europe for grayling fishing and hosts the annual Hanak Grayling Festival. I have access to some delightful stretches of the river and clients can be assured I'll do my very best to find a beat that is right for their experience and ability.
